Mid-summer roundup

Event Projection: Technical production for the creative industries

Can you believe we’re half way through the year already? Tomorrow is July, marking the start of the second half of the year.  It really doesn’t seem like six months ago we were singing in the year after drinking far too much Prosecco and Whisky and getting emotional about Bowie and Prince.  Again.

But here we are, so we thought we’d take a bit of time to reflect on the year so far.  We’ve had a great first half, getting involved in some of the best events we’ve been involved in during our almost nine years of being. We’ve added GSP Venues and Saatchi Gallery to our client list, and have had no less than three really interesting events there. This includes the From Selfie to Self-Expression exhibition which has now been extended until 23rd July, and the Superyacht Gallery, both of which included loads of custom solutions and interactive tech.

Earlier this year we provided our projection expertise for two promos, with the Dirt 4 promotional video, and the Halifax Thunderbirds ad. We also helped break a Guinness World Record, providing AV for the largest mental health lesson at London’s Hackney Empire.

Finally, the last couple of weeks have seen as over in Cannes at the Lions International Festival of Creativity for the second year, with our client Spotify.

We’d love to say after all we’ve done so far this year we’re heading off for a long summer break. Sadly though, that is not to be. The next couple of weeks look to be our busiest yet. We have two more events at Saatchi Gallery, a couple of film shoots, and some large scale projection for a TV commercial for a well known make-up brand. We’re also talking to one of the world’s best loved brands about something very exciting, but we can’t talk about that yet!

If you have an event or shoot you’re currently planning and you need some technical production expertise, do give us a call! We’d love to add you to our ever expanding client list.
