Laser Graffiti is something that would probably be far more common if projection mapping didn’t come along but what is it? Simply put, it’s graffiti that uses projectors instead of paint.
By using a laser pointer commonly used for presentaions, the graf artist draws on a building. A camera is trained on the building and the computer software set to pick-up the bright laser light reflecting off the building. The software then paints the picture in real time and this is displayed by the projector. There are a couple of simple software programs that can be downloaded to playwith but at Event projection we are developing a scaleable solution that can be used with multiple high resolution projectors to take it one step further.
