Spotify drummed up its biggest presence to date at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June 2016. They provided insights on its global narratives and showcased its in-depth understanding of user data. In addition to hosting events on the festival’s main stage, the brand activated its Spotify House for a fourth consecutive year, offering up daily content panels, nightly parties and immersive engagements that highlighted the brand’s integration with various platforms including PlayStation and Chromecast.
As part of Spotify activation centered at “Spotify House” on the Croisette, a unique and flexible indoor and outdoor space, created for meetings, drinks, receptions and private dinners. Event Projection was brought in to provide projection for Immersive Day, in a live digital projection mapped wall. We also took over technical video production and provided video equipment and crew to install and run day-to-day operations at Spotify house, where Custom built stage has hosted performances from the likes of John Legend, Beck, Ellie Goulding, Basement Jaxx, Will.i.am and Disclosure in the past years. In 2016 we have seen Tony Bennet, Mark Ronson, and Kygo.
