Event Projection were invited along for some projection mapping for Dulux to launch their new Colours of the World™ collection. Using 3D mapping, the advert illustrates the new colours inspired by the world’s most beautiful landscapes – Passionate Argentina, Soulful Kenya, Peaceful Scandinavia, Romanic Provence and Balanced Japan.
Each of the five palettes has been crafted by the Global Dulux Colour Experts to offer five unique shades of washable, low odour interior wall paint that complement one another effortlessly.
The three-day shoot tested kit and crew and involved some bizarre projector placements to illuminate shadow. Three HD projectors were used, blended and mapped to create the ultra HD landscapes on the interior of the town house. This advert was a great example of how immersive projection can be used for commercials.
