SuperYacht Gallery is an exhibition about the glamorous world of super yachts. It uses various visual and technical elements including film, craftsmanship, photography, super yacht models, infographics, art, and a number of compelling creative concepts. This event was held at Saatchi Gallery from 1-3 June 2017.
Event Projection were brought in to provide creative and technical expertise to bring the exhibition to life using audio visual technology including projection, sound and video. We also used content management and playback systems such as Media Servers and our own network based playback solution, Nod-E. Such was the scope of this projected it incorporated three of our four key disciplines, interactive, immersive and creative content.
Each gallery had a different theme to take visitors on an exciting journey through the super yacht world and beyond. Themes such as imagination, craftsmanship, innovation, exploration and lifestyle had very different looks and feels. The challenge was to work with a number of different exhibitors and partners and translate their creative needs into a technical brief. This was a key component in the production of the overall event.
We installed immersive cinema installation using multiple projectors and our own designed network based playback system (Nod-E) which allowed us to show high resolution content over large gallery walls. Other areas showed a number of video walls and screen installations again using Nod-E which we have designed to manage and playback content in sync on various stand alone displays screens not connected with any cabling. We also used HD projection blends, rear projection, live camera relay and projection mapping techniques.
It is always a challenge to work in this listed building and we are very proud of our team who exceeded all the expectations of the project managers, the venue events team GSP and our client, SuperYacht Gallery.
