Isn’t it incredible what can be achieved in a week? With an extremely (and we mean extremely!) tight lead time, we created a beautiful table mapping for iconic beauty brand Estee Lauder. The event, held at the Saatchi Gallery in London, was a press launch dinner for a new cosmetic range. Organised by Cecilia Gomez of Faro Studio, we were brought in last minute to provide something a bit different for the table decoration.
Our content team worked on the project solidly, developing the creative and animations for the mapping. The revolutionary new skincare range being launched repairs the skin from daily modern life, including that of blue light exposure. And so the content for the mapping was based upon the effects of blue light on the skin. Our approach combined 2D, 3D and generative techniques to produce the high resolution display.
A total of five HD projectors were blended on the lengthy table to create the projection mapping. The event was a huge success, entertaining the 38 guests at the dinner, and leaving the client “super happy” with the table mapping, which looked “amazing”.
