Hurrah for little Nod-E

We have recently added to our large range of AV hire kit with our very own bespoke piece of equipment, designed by us, in-house.  Nod-E, as it’s affectionately become known, is a cost effective node based alternative to centralised media servers. We designed it to manage and play back content in sync on multiple display screens without messy cabling, replacing large server racks in favour of the small footprint of micro-computers. Capable of 4K output, it is suitable for large scale projection and projection mapping in both 2D and 3D. We also have the ability to interface with custom developed tablet apps.

Nod-E was recently used to manage the content of numerous projection displays, screens and video walls, in different exhibition spaces at SuperYachy Gallery at Saatchi (which you can read more about here). It is currently over in France with some of our team, at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Here it’s being used with a custom built Android app for our client, Spotify (we’ll have more on that soon!). The real beauty of Nod-E is that it can be completely tailored for pretty much any use; traditional mapping, generative and interactive content, branded user interfacing. Basically, if you can think of it, Nod-E can probably manage it! If you have an idea for an event you think Nod-E would be suited for, please give us a call.
